  Learning in the making conference

The learning in the making conference is when we have a day off school ( but we go to school ) and have fun with workshops and activities

The mad scientist returns
I enjoyed this workshop but it wasn’t my favorite workshop but it was up there. I learned that making a balloon go down nylon wasn’t that easy it was really hard. Freya and I were a team our measurement was 7.61m the highest measurement was 10.87m. This workshop was fun.

Dream Catchers
I didn’t really enjoy this workshop because I didn’t finish mine and it kept coming loose. Which it was really hard to hold it especially since I have my arm in a cast.

My life weaving
This workshop was my favourite because I finished my weaving and they look so cool. So what you do for this is you have to weave fabric through cardboard get some fabric to put on your canvas. Then stick the fabric on your cardboard then decorate the rest of your canvas.


Perler beads
I also enjoyed this workshop cause you could make anything. So perler beads is you have beads you make things out of it. Then you iron the thing you made. I made a spin top and a star. I made those out of glow in the dark perler beads.

 







Holiday Recount

In the holidays I had my birthday. I had Isabella, Brooklyn and Ariana. We were up stairs most of the afternoon. When it was time to get ready for bed we got our bed sorted and watched a movie and half of the other one.    We went to Hamilton Zoo it was so cool then we went to Te Rapa the base. We had some lunch I had KFC. Then we went to Smiggle Isabella and I got a diary with a key.


Then on Tuesday I went to Isabella's birthday and we stayed the night in the morning we went horse riding. I didn’t ride cause of my arm so I was camera lady. We went back to Isabella's house and had lunch and cake. Then we went home.

For the holidays I went to Rarotonga, we left around 4:30 in the afternoon on Monday and we arrived at 10:oo on Sunday. My parents know a family in Rarotonga so Paul came down to welcome us but the weird thing was when we got off the plane we were stripping! Paul was in a jersey and long pants. We got onto the bus and they us took us to our resort. We stayed up and we had some drinks well,  the kids had orange juice. We stayed up until like 12:00. The next morning we played in the pool most of the day. On Wednesday we went to Captain Tamas glass bottom boat. We went snorkeling and it was a part of Captain Tamas. We also got a lunch on an island and also saw a man called Captain White Chocolate climb a tree. He is known as the world record holder. A got taught how to tie a sarong. Then on Thursday we went to make a sarong and tie dye I made one for my best friend then one for me. The next day my family and the Kennedys split up and we went to our own house. I won Lotto!!! When I win lotto I would like to go to a holiday to Hawaii because I have never been to America and Hawaii seems like a really nice place to go. I would also like to  buy a  big house in Taupo so I can have a lot of parties. My Holiday

   My Holiday  On my holidays we did nothing much because Mum had to do work. So mum promised us we were allowed a friend over for the night.  I got Isabella over and we went to North to watch my Dad’s team play. Isabella, Maddie and I did the score board and at the end of the game we took all the flags and everything in. We got a chocolate bar at the end of the day for doing it. Then we went to Thames and went to get dinner (McDonald's). We went to watch a movie. The movie was called Allegiant it is the third movie of the divergent series. It is a really cool movie I rate it a 4 out of 5 star rating. Later that night we had a flag competition and whoever could make the best flag won. Isabella and me we didn't  get to make a fly cause we kept mucking up, then Isabella went home.
