Today a man called Lex came to our school to talk to us about who we are. Lex was so funny I couldn't stop laughing at his jokes I would tell you my favourite but their were to many. My favourite activity was doing the what animal are you test their were 4 animals. The Lion likes to take the lead. The Otter likes to be fun and silly. The Golden Retriever can't say no.  The Beaver is smart. I was the Otter when we were looking at the animals I thought I would be the otter. Lex was here to tell us about who we are and that its good to be different.  Here are the things I learn't I am a jokester and I like to be funny. That there is a place in Aukland called Attitude and that's were Lex works. Here is the photo of the Otter

Oi You What You need to know about the kids my age

Oi You What You need to know about the kids my age You need to know we need to be looked after and loved. Sometimes we can be a pain and say some things but we still really love our family and friends.
New Arrival I talked to Sophie Pepper which is new to our crew this year. She said I was really scary and worrying starting a new school. It was hard to adjust to a new style of learning with the open space. It was hard to make new friends too. If I was new I would find it really hard.
Fixed and Growth mindset Fixed If I was faced with a challenge and I had a fixed mindset I would say. I can't do this I'm gonna give there's no point trying because I know I'm gonna fail anyway. Growth I am gonna try and conquer this and if I don't get it the first time I will keep on trying until I get it. After awhile all the trying will be worth it.
My first week  My first week in Marama was really different to Whetu but good different at the end of the week I released that I like Marama better than Whetu. Marama is a lot funner than whetu. It also has a lot of fun work to do. It also makes me feel a lot older and maturer being in Marama.
Favourite Song : Let You Down by NF I love this song it has a great meaning behind it. His parents broke up and his mum remarried and his dad had to take care of his two sisters by himself. His mum took drugs and she died and his step dad mentally abused him.
Big Chief Little Chief What is my Role? My role is being a leader and a role model to younger kids in the school. I hope the kids look up to me as a leader. I know when I was a little kid I looked up to a lot of older kids. So I hope the kids look up to me also my first leadership role in Marama is I am taking care of the sports gear.

Mum pick me up after her meeting and we go home I hang out my togs to dry and wash my lunch box. Then I go outside and play with the dogs or bounce on the tramp. We have tea and usually we go outside as a family and play a game of cricket or soccer and master then I play on my I pad or watch T.V and get ready for bed.

Beach Ed On Wedensday the 7th my class went to Waihi Beach to learn some more on how to stay safe in the water. When we got there the lifeguards went through all the rules. Then we split up into four groups the Yr 7 boys went with James the Yr 7 girls went with Nick. The Yr 8’s Split with Rickila and Shanaye. The Yr 7’s went for a tour around while the Yr 8’s learnt how to spot a rip after that we swapped around. I learnt how to spot a rip the four signs were. Foamy water/Debre, Criss Cross waves, Calm Patch, Discoloured water. After that we had morning tea then we went out to play Seaweed and Beach Flags. Beach Flags is a game where you lye on your tummy facing the opposite way the sticks are someone says head up head down. Then you run and try and get a stick. We had Lunch and went in the water to do some activities. After that we had free time in the water and got changed and went home.   3 key points How to spot a rip You can become a lifeguard at the age of 14 ...

Inspirational Quote I like this quote because it really says its okay to be different. Also I reckon being different is better then being the same as everyone cause then you don't have any different talents or  Personalities.

If I was a car What would I be ?  If I was a car I would be Bumble Bee I think  Bumble Bee really and I are really alike.  Bumble Bee is really nice and kind and so am I. We are both fast  and never give up we always try our hardest.
Favourite part of my holiday My family and I went up past Coromandel to Papa Aroha. We took our Caravan for the first time year but we didn't take our boat. We have friends that go up there and they have a batch so they had their boat so Mum and Dad went fishing with them. So Lara and I had to look after ourself. There was a storm while we were there and the water was coming up to where the boats were parked and the drive way was flooded.
